Many people are confused about the difference of a hammer toe vs. a claw toe vs. a mallet toe.
Picture A is a Hammer toe. - Flexion contracture at the Proximal Interphalangeal Joint. - Extension contractureatthe Distal Interphalangeal Joint ( closest to the toe nail).
